Vaal Wedding Case Study
Windy, rainy set-up day creating weather concerns for the wedding the following day!
It wasn’t of major concern for the reception taking place in our Grand Raj, as it is fully waterproof AND has side walls in the case of driving rain. However, thankfully, the wedding day dawned with clear blue skies and bright sunshine, much to everyone’s relief for a perfect day!! A groundsheet was hurriedly placed on the grass under the marquee as it was still a little soggy!
And so to the wedding: The green lawn on the banks of the picturesque Vaal River was the scene of this beautiful wedding. Our Grand Raj had a comfortably large enough space to accommodate all of the many dining guests at the reception, whilst aptly adding to the elegance of the very special occasion and location.
A myriad of individually cut-out white flower shapes hung in hundreds of mobiles from the arched pathway leading up to where the bride and groom exchanged their vows. This created a magical fluttering effect as the bridal party made their way up this aisle, preceding the beautiful bride, who looked ethereal in her white dress and veil in the passage of waving flowers.
The day stayed sunny and bright and the clear evening sky was perfection as the celebration continued well into the night.
